Who usually needs Pro
If you read from a laptop under your webcam, or you can reach the screen, the free teleprompter is all you need. Pro earns its keep when the screen is out of reach: a phone or tablet in a glass rig, a presenter on a stage, or a demo where your hands are busy. The phone remote lets you pause, change speed and jump back for a retake without walking to the rig, and voice follow keeps the script with you when you slow down or ad-lib.
Passes don't renew by themselves, so you can buy a week for a single shoot and come back when you need it again.
Questions
Is there a free trial?
There's no trial, but you don't need one to decide: the teleprompter is free forever, voice follow works free for 2 minutes a day, and the 7-day pass is a small, one-off purchase that doesn't renew.
Does it renew automatically?
No. You buy a week or a year at a time. Renewing early adds the new time to what you have left.
Which device needs Pro?
Only the camera device that shows the script. The phone you use as the remote just opens the page.
How do I sign in on another device?
Use the same name and passcode. There's no account and no password reset, so keep the passcode file you download.
Is Reframely free for commercial use?
Yes. The free teleprompter and Pro can both be used for paid and client work.
Can I try voice follow before buying?
Yes. Voice follow works free for 2 minutes a day with no sign-up, including a rehearsal report after each read. Pro keeps it on.
What is a rehearsal report?
After a read with voice follow, Reframely shows your reading time and pace, filler words the speech service heard, and sentences you may have skipped. It uses only what voice follow already hears and stays on your device.
What happens when my plan ends?
Your scripts and settings stay in your browser, and the free teleprompter keeps working. Only the phone remote and voice follow stop until you renew.
