Compare teleprompter apps
Honest comparisons, including when the other app is the better choice.
What to check in any teleprompter app
- Is the free version really usable, or does it add a watermark, a time limit or a word limit?
- Does it mirror text for a rig, and can you control it with a clicker, a pedal or your phone?
- Does it work on the devices you own, including Chromebooks, Windows laptops and Android tablets?
- Does it keep working offline, and where are your scripts stored?
- Is the subscription easy to cancel, or does it renew automatically?
Each comparison above covers these points, and says plainly when another app is the better fit for what you do.
Switching to Reframely
Bring your scripts with you: paste them in, or import Word, text, Markdown and RTF files. If you use a rig, pick its preset for mirrored text and the right margins. Your scripts stay in your browser, and nothing needs an account, so you can try Reframely next to the app you use now and keep whichever reads better for you.
How we compare
Comparisons here use each app's own store listing or website and published user reviews, with links, dated so you can check what's changed. Where another app does something better, such as a native app's offline voice tracking or a richer script editor, we say so. Prices and features change, so check the current listing before you buy.
